The word “Femalyst” was coined by Divyanshi Dhouni, the platform’s founder, to describe something that didn’t have a clean, single word yet: a woman who acts as a force of change — in her career, her business, her life, her community — rather than simply adapting to existing systems.
A catalyst speeds up a reaction without being consumed by it; it changes the environment around it permanently. That’s the posture Femalyst takes toward the women it serves: not a passive support system, but an accelerant for the careers, ventures, and ambitions already in motion.
This distinction matters because so much of the “women in business” language treats women as a category needing help to catch up. Femalyst starts from the opposite premise — that women are already driving change, and what they need most is access: to the right conference, the right grant, the right returnship program, the right community of people doing the same thing one step ahead of them.

Who Is a Femalyst?
A Femalyst is any woman who actively drives her own growth — and often the growth of the women around her — rather than waiting for the right opportunity to find her. It isn’t a job title, an industry, or a stage of life.
A Femalyst can be any young woman with dreams, goals, and the courage to keep moving forward. Someone who wants more from life — more learning, more opportunities, more confidence — and it’s the decision to act on her own growth rather than wait for permission to pursue it.
Within the Femalyst community, the word also works as an identity. Members of the platform are, by definition, Femalysts — women who’ve chosen to treat their own ambition as something worth backing publicly, and who extend that same energy outward to the women navigating similar paths around them. Nothing is required to earn the title beyond the decision itself: a Femalyst is anyone who decides to be a catalyst rather than wait for one.

Our Story
Why Femalyst Exists
“The more people she met, the more she realized that growth often happens through exposure. When you’re surrounded by ambitious people, you discover opportunities, ideas, and paths that you didn’t even know existed.
Femalyst was built because Divyanshi noticed something important. Everything started to change when she began attending conferences, startup events, workshops, and community meetups. For the first time, she was regularly meeting founders, creators, entrepreneurs, investors, and people building exciting things.
What surprised her was how many opportunities existed beyond what she could find online. A conversation at an event could lead to a mentorship, a collaboration, a job opportunity, a community, or simply a new way of thinking. Many of the most valuable insights were being shared between people, not on websites.
That experience became one of the inspirations behind Femalyst — helping more women access the people, communities, and opportunities that can change the direction of their careers and lives.
The problem isn’t that opportunities for women don’t exist. There are scholarships, communities, mentorship programs, fellowships, events, and career opportunities everywhere.
The real challenge is finding them.
Most young women never hear about these opportunities because the information is scattered across different websites, groups, and networks. Often, the people who benefit are simply the ones who already know where to look.
Femalyst exists to bring these opportunities, people, and resources into one place — so women can spend less time searching and more time growing.

Who’s Behind Femalyst
Femalyst was founded by Divyanshi Dhouni, an Indian entrepreneur, content creator, and community builder based in Warsaw, Poland. She created Femalyst after experiencing firsthand how access to the right people, communities, and opportunities can completely change the direction of a career.
Over the past few years, Divyanshi has built multiple digital platforms, created content reaching millions of people, and worked at the intersection of entrepreneurship, creative technology, personal branding, and community building. Her work has been featured by leading publications including Business Today, India Today, and Hindustan Times, and today she documents how AI, content, and entrepreneurship can help people build meaningful careers.
As Divyanshi continued building her own career — first in India and later in Europe — she experienced how one introduction, one conference, one mentor, or one community could completely change what came next.
